The story

When you've been given a platform, you have a responsibility to use it for good.

The Bourne Blessed Foundation was founded by NFL wide receiver Kendrick Bourne, inspired by his own journey — from humble beginnings to the professional stage — and the people who believed in him along the way. It is a story of perseverance, opportunity, and the power of a supportive community.

Bourne Blessed was created to pay that forward: to lift others up, especially those who often get overlooked. Through outreach in the cities that shaped him, Kendrick and the team are working to make sure every child, regardless of circumstance, has the tools, the encouragement, and the opportunities they need to succeed.

Through meaningful programs, hands-on events, and partnerships with trusted local organizations, we work to create lasting change in the lives of children and families.

Our name reflects a deeper calling — to live with purpose, serve others with love, and lead by example. Faith guides the work, and reminds us we’re part of something bigger than ourselves.
